Another similar strategy affiliate marketers use, is to submit their articles to article directories. This is free and it is also very effective. But there is one caveat: do not submit the same articles you have posted on your website because having duplicate articles on the internet will hurt your SEO ranking. The way to use articles directory effectively is to submit an article relevant to your niche and put a link to your website. Keep in mind that when you submit your article to a directory, other people can use your article as long as they keep the link back to your website.
If you are thinking that this sounds very time consuming, you are right. It does take time to write a lot of articles for your website and also articles to be submitted to directories. Some people say that you only need to submit your articles to the top three directories, and others say you need to submit your articles to hundreds of them. This is up to you. Try different things and track how your page ranks.

The strategies we mentioned here are only some of the things you can do to increase your site’s ranking. The most important thing to do is to consistently keep adding articles to your website. A safe way to create back links to your website, is to write guess post and share your link in the post. Whatever strategy you choose, try to be careful about dropping too many links, because your link might be marked as spam. Also, try to stay consistent and keep adding relevant articles to your website regularly.
